Mission
Goals

Strength through Sharing
My goal is to help those who struggle with addiction with hope and encouragement.
I know too well the need to have someone who has gone through the journey and can offer hope and insight. My talk will be real, raw and the honest truth about the hell I went through to get clean. I will also be there to listen to their stories and offer insights and hope that if they make it through just one more day, they will be one day better off.
My bigger goal is to raise money through sponsorships, donations and my YouTube channel to give money to Narcotics Anonymous, The Wounded Warrior Project and the Veterans Administration, groups that support addicts and Veterans on their road to recovery. Many addicts cannot afford to donate to the daily meeting basket, but these organizations must continue to survive and be there for all those who struggle.
Funding
I Need Your Help
I cannot do this alone. I need funding and sponsorships to help me get the motorcycle ready and acquire the supplies I need to take on this year long journey. I will keep my monthly expenses low by camping along the way, but there is still the need for food, gasoline and supplies.
I'm looking to raise $35,000 for the first year of expenses, and supplement with support from the groups I will speaking to.
My support team will help coordinate the trip and my daily routes, schedule meetings and edit my videos to put on YouTube. I have started a “Go Fund Me” page for donations and I'm in talks with Gateway, and the Veterans Administration to setup speaking engagements. In addition we are speaking with Northwestern hospital and the Mayo Clinic for support in my mission.
Locations

Gateway Treatment Centers
Gateway Foundation is the largest nonprofit treatment provider with treatment programs in California, Delaware, Florida, Illinois, Michigan, Missouri, New Jersey, Texas and Wyoming that specialize in substance use disorders for men, women, adolescents, and clients diagnosed with co-occurring mental health disorders.
Gateway has 16 Treatment Center locations in Illinois. Each one of their drug and alcohol treatment centers offers a number of therapies and programs, including Withdrawal Management, Residential Treatment, Partial Hospitalization Programs, Intensive Outpatient Programs, Outpatient Programs, and Sober Living Homes. I will start in Illinois and then spread out to the other states.
After my hospital detox, I did a 30 day in-patient program at the Gateway Lake Villa location. This program helped me understand my addiction and laid the foundation for recovery that I continue to this day. The team at Gateway saved my life. This is why I want to visit and offer hope to those struggling to get clean.
